Create an Ad Campaign Blueprint

An ad campaigni blueprint, or flow chart, is a great organization tool when planning your campaign. The more complex the campaign, the more essential it is to create a blueprint, or flow chart of the campaign. Let's begin with the steps to create a very simple campaign.

  • The first step is to give the campaign a name.
  • The next thing to decide is whether you will use a blogi, or article, to communicate with the world, so prospects will come to you.
  • Third step is to create a "capture pagei." The capture page will allow prospects to opt in to allow you to send emails to them.
  • Fourth, you will create a series of auto response letters (auto replies link from the email weblet) that will deliver a link to your landing pagei.
  • Fifth, you will create a landing page that delivers information or an offer to the prospect.
  • Ad campaigns can be very simple, or very complex. The more complex the campaign, the more important it is to create a blueprint.

EXAMPLE OF A SIMPLE CAMPAIGN:

NAME OF CAMPAIGN (optional): GARDENING

Create a blog (or article) from the appropriate weblet

Create capture page

  • title: gardening
  • notes: will prompt autoresponder with same title (name of mailing list)
  • offer: will share gardening tips about container gardening and growing exotic herbs and plants.
  • opt in will require first name (all capture pages will automatically capture the prospect's email address)

  • name of email list: gardening
  • subject line (of auto responder): gardening tips you requested
  • notes: will link to landing page that will contain the gardening tips
  • landing page link: http://www.example.com/xxxxxxxx
  • responder delivery time: 0 days (immediately)

  • title line or header:Gardening Saves Me Money
  • will deliver offer: tips and how-to about growing food plants from a grocery store purchase
  • growing basil from small cuttings and from seed; growing a decorative pineapple from the top of a pineapple that was cut from one that was peeled and served for the family; growing ginger from part of a root from the grocery store; growing lemon grass.

  • notes: will link to landing page that will contain more tips and some pictures of my garden

  • will deliver: pictures of the garden in full bloom, and of the harvest of lemon grass
