New Features for December 17, 2008

We have some new features on MLMv2! The first new feature is this company blogi. We will use this blog to let you know about new features and upgrades. You can also use it as an example to see how your own blog might look. Below, I will outline each of the new features:

  1. We now have a simplified Rich Text Editor toolbar. At the top of your Weblets page, there are links to choose between the Simple, Intermediate or Advanced toolbar. This will cause the chosen toolbar to show on all forms.
  2. We have new blogging and landing pagei style templates! We are beginning to upload Blogger and Wordpress style templates. We will be entering more of these templates as fast as we can, so you'll have hundreds of templates to choose from!
  3. You can now change the settings of your entire blog from one location. When you are in the Blog Weblet, click on "Blog Settings." From there, you can choose a style template, the name of your blog (which will appear at the top of the page), as well as many other options. You can even enter your own links or other information in the left and right sidebars. To put a list of links similar to the one you see now in the sidebar, use the "Insert/Remove Bulleted List" icon from the rich text editori, and put a link on each line. These options will show on every page of your blog, even your blog home page!
  4. If you wish to use a different style, name, or other options on a specific blog post, you can override your "Blog Settings" by filling out the information in the "Advanced Options" section when creating a new blog post.
  5. It is now easier to see what the different style templates look like when creating a landing page, or editing your blog settings. Above the Style Template drop-down, there is a new link to "Preview Style Templates." Click that link to drop down a preview of all of the available style templates. Use the scrollbar to the right of the drop-down to see more. You can click on each one to view it in a new window. If you can't see the name (which appears in red), just hold your mouse over one you like, and the name will pop up. Once you find one you would like to use, choose the name from the "Style Template" drop down box just below the preview area.
  6. It is now easier than ever to post your content to social bookmarking sites! On every page where you can create content, there is a new checkbox near the bottom of the page that says "Post to social bookmarking sites after save." Just click that box to go to the social submission page after you click the save button. If you are not registered on any social bookmarking sites, don't worry! You will be directed right to the page where you can register and enter passwords for each site! We are also adding a checkbox for the social networking sites, and adding lot's of new sites for each. Whenever there are new sites available, you will be presented with a link to enter information for the new sites.
