When entering any content on the site, you may click the page break button within the rich text editorⁱ (the last button in the editor's toolbar) to create a teaser break. The teaser break will allow you to have a "teaser" or summary for your content. The summary will show in lists of content, and is used when sending a summary of your content to other sites using your Weblets.

When you do not specify a teaser, the main body of your content will be used, but will be cut off after a certain number of characters. You have the option of separating your teaser from the main body of your content so that it does not show within the main body by unchecking the "Show summary in full view" checkbox above the rich text editor.
